Joseph A. Ledwidge
For more than a decade, attorney Joseph A. Ledwidge has assisted clients throughout the Five Boroughs in the areas of estate planning and family law. Mr. Ledwidge is dedicated to protecting and advancing the interests and rights of each of his clients in an efficient, cost-effective, and professional manner. His areas of expertise include probate, wills, will contests, estate administration, spousal right of election, estate litigation, family law, divorce, separation agreements, pre/post-nuptial agreements, child custody, and child support.
Mr. Ledwidge is a native of London, England. He earned his H.N.C. in Business and Finance from Hammersmith and West London College in 1987. He then went on to earn his LL.B. from Thames Valley University in 1996. Mr. Ledwidge is a member of the Queens Bar Association and the New York State Bar Association. He also serves as a Guardian Ad Litem for the Queens Supreme Court. Mr. Ledwidge was admitted to the New York State Bar in 1998.
Outside of his law practice, Mr. Ledwidge is active in the local community, and serves on the Board of Forestdale, Inc., a child welfare agency based in Queens.
Yakeina Dixon, Esq.
Yakeina Dixon serves as associate counsel with the firm, where she represents clients in family law matters, including preparing pleadings and motions for matrimonial, child custody, and support matters; estates (probate and administration); and landlord and tenant matters. Ms. Dixon also counsels clients and appears for various court proceedings.
Outside of her work at the firm, Ms. Dixon is active in the community, serving as a member of the Board of Directors for United Minds, Inc., a Queens-based not-for-profit organization that seeks to motivate high school students to enter college and the ranks of various professions. She is a graduate of Columbia University and Barnard College, where she earned her Bachelor's in Political Science. Ms. Dixon received her Juris Doctor from St. John's University School of Law. She was admitted to the New York State Bar in 2005.
Jennifer R. Deniger
Associate Jennifer R. Deniger oversees matrimonial cases from intake though final judgment, including Pendente Lite motions and court appearances, discovery requests, and preparation of settlement agreements. Ms. Deniger also prepares notices and handles court appearances for landlord/tenant matters, and negotiates with tenants when applicable. Her duties also include preparing various motions and making appearances for Surrogate Court matters.
Ms. Deniger is a trained mediator, and a member of the Queens County Bar Association, the New York Bar Association, and the American Bar Association. She earned her Bachelor's from San Diego State University, and her Juris Doctor from Hofstra University School of Law, with a concentration in Family Law. She was admitted to the New York State Bar in April 2010.
